Reception Entertainment
Reception entertainment and activities is one place I REALLY encourage you to think outside of the box. Dancing is a great go-to and everyone has a great time! And - there are so many other cool experiences out there that you can share with your guests. Don’t be a afraid to do something that may feel a bit more “you”. Here are a few of my favorite ideas for reception entertainment and activities:
Drag Queen Bingo!
Support a local entertainer with an activity that so many people are already familiar with. All ages can play, and they don’t even have to leave their chairs, until they get a BINGO! Print custom bingo cards and have prizes. Everyone will have a blast!
Trivia!
What a great way to help the tables break the ice and get to know each other than participating in a few low stakes rounds of trivia. Many trivia companies will also create custom rounds that are all about you as a couple. It’s like a pop quiz after your ceremony but also has prizes.
Board Games and Puzzles!
Don’t think your crowd is really the dancing type? They don’t have to be! Collect some of your favorite board games and puzzles and set them out on tables for guests to play during the reception. You can have custom puzzles printed as a favor or even have an uno tournament. What else can you do? Prizes!
