Functions and Gatherings is a bespoke wedding planning company focused on making the wedding planning journey stress-free and fun.

We focus on the queer experience because acceptance doesn't cut it–our love deserves to be celebrated! In a hyper-normative industry, we want to break the mold and have a blast doing it.

  • "Jake didn’t just help us pull off a wedding, they helped us create something unforgettable. We cannot recommend them enough."

    - Beryl, Full Planning

  • "From keeping us sane and laughing through the planning process, to securing a Chappell Roan record so we could dance to Pink Pony Club at our reception- they truly went above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable and seen in the process. We cannot sing their praises enough."

    - Charlotte, Wedding Management

  • "You will remember the important things (the meaning of your wedding and the people who attended) rather than what went wrong or could have been better. You couldn't have a better planner who knows when to have fun, and when to get sh$@ done."

    - Josh, Consultation & Wedding Management

  • "Truly - Jake is the embodiment of queer excellence. If you are looking to bring extra sparkle and detail-oriented magic, to your event, you should definitely hire Jake! We cannot recommend him highly enough."

    - Gabe, Wedding Management

  • "Even my photographer commented that it was the only wedding he's been to that was on schedule! With Jake running the show, I was able to relax and really enjoy my special day."

    - Aishley, Wedding Management

  • "Jake kept everything running smooth, took care of the last minute details, and even delivered leftover cake to my husband and I at the end of the night to enjoy!"

    - Amanda, Wedding Management
