This is the part where you get to know a little bit about me! 

I feel comfortable summarizing my personality as “Gay Neurodivergent Gemini.” If astrology isn’t really your thing, know that this means a lot of wonderful, joyful chaos and no shortage of random facts and stories!

Born and raised in the Seattle area, I now live in a cute lil house in Burien with my husband and cat-child Herman. “Work” comes in many shapes and sizes but mostly event planning these days. Everything from corporate team building to non-profit fundraisers to hella gay weddings here at Functions and Gatherings. When I’m not at an event behind the clip board, I can be found belting Nineties Lady Country in the car, reading as many books as I can with magic and gay kissing, and serving some kind of loud gender bending fashion ensemble. 

For as long as I can remember I’ve loved a celebration. I’m grateful everyday that I get to share that passion with others! A lot of us have to fight for acceptance when I know that we should be celebrated. While I was in culinary school and working at a coat check company, I learned the importance of doing simple things really well and the impact that can have in making your guests feel cared for. This philosophy is at the core of my passion for events.
