Cocktail Hour

Even though it is called Cocktail Hour I am a firm believer that it doesn’t need to last that long - with some caveats! If you have an evening reception, your guests are likely ready for dinner. Don’t keep them waiting. There is plenty of time after everyone eats to chat and catch up. If you do really want a full hour, I recommend making sure to have plenty of small bites to keep folks fed while they have a drink before the big meal!
